Junior Landcare Educator Hub

Hi Everyone! I am looking to start a fruit/veggie garden in my small school in rural NSW. I could use any simple tips and ideas for things I can grow/do to make this a simple yet exciting process for the kids to get really involved in. I am trying to get a composting system up and running and also applying for the Landcare Australia and Woolworths grant. This is something that is going to fit in around our other learning areas so still not sure how much time can be dedicated to this project. I am hoping to have some sustainable food to use at the end of the year but with the change of seasons around here, I'm not sure how successful I am going to be (it gets really cold). Any tips on how I can make this simple and enjoyable for the kids will be greatly appreciated! Caitlyn Elliott
