Event Overview

Bass Coast community members are invited to join the ‘Circular Economy in the Garden and Farm’ workshop on Sunday 14 June, from 10.00am to 3.30pm at Bass Hall, 2–4 Bass School Road, Bass. This practical and inspiring session will explore how regenerative thinking can be applied in gardens and farms, with a focus on building resilience and finding local, rewarding solutions. Participants will hear from Moragh Mackay of Mycelia Collective on mindfully shifting to a regenerative economy, along with hands-on learning from Rick Coleman of the Southern Cross Permaculture Institute. Lisa Wangman from Bass Coast Landcare Network, will share insights on building resilience through seed saving at the River Garden, and a bus tour to local properties will explore how these ideas can be put into practice. This series offers practical, relevant ideas you can apply at your own property, while creating space to share perspectives, swap experiences and enjoy an inspiring day with like-minded people.
