To celebrate Biodiversity Month, Landcarer is offering you a chance to WIN a ticket to the Australian Land Conservation Alliance PLC2021 Online Summit, taking place 20-21 October 2021 (value of $85-$130).

Just add a comment to the discussion about invasive species and their impact on biodiversity 5pm AEST on Thursday 30 September to enter. The question up for discussion is: “Invasive species are having a serious contribution to the loss of biodiversity. How can Australia really get a handle on this issue? Is it even possible? Can invasive species be left to exist in these environments?”

This discussion can be found in the “Biodiversity Topic”. Judges will choose 10 winners which will be awarded tickets to the Australian Land Conservation Alliance PLC2021 Online Summit.

About the Summit

The engaging program at the summit focuses around two themes, Global Trends and Influences and what they mean for Australia, and the Policy and Practice that will be required to bridge climate and biodiversity.

A lineup of insightful speakers will share their perspectives on topics such as the Convention on Biological Diversity, COPs 15 and 16, the latest IPCC report, global business trends towards investing in nature, how our private land sector is responding, ambitious targets to protect biodiversity, organisations delivering transformative change, the bushfire experience 2019/2020, and how we are preparing ourselves for the future.

Conditions

  • To win you must be an Australian resident.
  • Entries must be posted on the specified Discussion on the Landcarer platform

The winner will be announced on 1st October 2021 on Landcarer.com.au.  The winning comments will be selected by the judges and winners will be required to provide contact details within 3 business days of being notified.
