Calling all Educators of science, sustainability and Junior Landcare!

You're invited to join like-minded educators for a lively and engaging professional development forum on Junior Landcare, taking place on 23 November 2021 at 4pm AEDT.

We want to hear your thoughts on how we can improve the Junior Landcare Learning Centre. Landcare Educator, Sam Harrison, will host this professional conversation on Zoom. You will earn a PD Certificate for your participation.

The Junior Landcare Learning Centre provides educators with easy-to-use classroom activities developed by fellow educators which are aligned to the school curriculum. Activities focus on science and sustainability. These valuable resources help our children to:

  • become aware of how they can be actively involved in caring for the environment
  • understand biodiversity
  • understand waste management
  • understand where their food comes from

Landcare Facilitators and Landcare coordinators, who work with schools in their communities, are all invited to attend and share their insights and feedback on how the Junior Landcare Learning Centre can support their activities.

We look forward to meeting online with you, on Tuesday 23 November. Please reserve your spot at this FREE professional development forum. Register by emailing enquiries@landcareaustralia.com.au.

In the meantime, please enjoy exploring over 60 environmental education resources in the Junior Landcare Learning Centre.
