Waterwise Gardens – FREE community workshop

Regardless of the type of garden, you can design it in such a way that it will manage both the drought and deluge!

Come along to the workshop and learn about planning your garden to manage water well. You'll also learn about old and new proven methods to conserve water: swales, ollas, mulch, composting pits, grey water filtration, raingardens and even aquaponics systems!

Are you looking to build your knowledge and skills in living more sustainably? Hawkesbury City Council offers free face-to-face and online workshops for all residents living in the Hawkesbury Local Government Area to learn about a variety of sustainability topics.

When: 2:00PM-4:00PM Sunday 20 November 2022.

Where: Tebbutt room, Deerubbin Centre, 300 George Street, Windsor.

Who: This workshop is for residents who live in the Hawkesbury City Council local government area.

Cost: This workshop is provided FREE of charge to residents of Hawkesbury City Council local government area.

Workshop presenter: Margaret Mossakowska, Moss House.

Bookings: Bookings are essential. Book early as places are strictly limited and we anticipate this workshop will reach full capacity.
