Our Place Migratory Bird/Wetland Habitat research project

The Bellarine Catchment Network are offering free Victorian Curriculum linked online learning resources for students in Levels 3-6 ready to-go. This activity contributes to learning in: Science Understanding (Science Curriculum), Geographical Concepts and Skills (Science Curriculum) and Geographical Knowledge (Humanities & Geography Curriculum).

Students can choose one of two research projects to complete about either Migratory Birds or Wetland Habitats and can choose how to present the work (as a poster, video, report etc);approximately 3 sessions of work. These free online resources are offered as part of the Bellarine Catchment Networks Ramsar Grant and is reportable to the Victorian Government.

Students can use this interactive map to help them with the project.

If your students participate, we would really appreciate a quick email detailing the number of students that engaged with the content, which project they chose and what grade they were in.
