Bringing the Region Together: 2025 Central Tablelands Regional Landcare Muster!

Over eight years ago, the concept of a Central Tablelands Regional Landcare Network (CTRLN) was established. The idea was to create a collaborative network of smaller Landcare groups that would be stronger together. This collaboration would not only improve their chances for funding but also enhance their ability to share resources, knowledge, and projects. By working together, they could shift from focusing solely on local issues to tackling regional-scale projects with entire landscapes in mind.

In stepping into the Regional Landcare Coordinator (RLC) role, I have worked to bring together our local Landcare Coordinators and, later, our wonderful volunteer Steering Committee. This year, we welcomed Alice Blackwood to the team as a part-time Regional Landcare Coordinator. As I said to Alice, it’s now time to bring our region together—to host a Landcare Muster open to all who care for the environment across our beautiful Central Tablelands.

What’s clear is that, together as a region, we’ve already achieved some incredible milestones. And by continuing to collaborate, we can realise the very reasons we all joined Landcare in the first place: to make a tangible difference for our environment and to support the people who care for it—whether they’re farmers, landholders, or community members in our towns and villages.

🌱 So we warmly invite you to join us at our 2025 Central Tablelands Regional Landcare Muster!!
