We are incredibly excited to announce a new, promotional website for the proposed International Year of Rangelands and Pastoralists (IYRP). Please visit the IYRP website.

Here you will hear inspiring stories from pastoralist peoples that come from almost every region of the world. Australian rangelands are featured under Oceania, the regions listed are those used by Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO). You will see photographs demonstrating the amazing diversity and beauty of the world's rangelands and grasslands. Through the 'Rangeland Voices' testimonial videos, you will hear strong voices calling for a renewed focus on these lands and people that are so important for food security, sustainable livelihoods, cultural diversity and environmental health across the globe.

A truly global and collaborative effort made this website possible with amazing interest and support from volunteers from all over the world - it was put together in less than 3 weeks. The website is definitely still a 'work in progress' and we will continue to add content.
