Share Your Voice: First Nations Perspectives on Drought and Dry Times Survey

By Maryam Mahini posted 17 hours ago

The Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry has commissioned Winangali Pty Ltd (a 100% Indigenous-owned consulting company) to conduct market research to gain insights and recommendations to improve First Nations Australians participation in Future Drought Fund programs.

A key part of the market research is to reach out through a survey. We are seeking First Nations people’s views and perspectives on drought and dry times. The results of the survey will help the Australian Government to:

  • improve communications with First Nations people, organisations, business and community about the support and programs that can be accessed to help you prepare for dry times, and
  • better understand what is important to you in dry times.

Click here to complete the survey

The survey will take approximately 5 minutes and is open to any First Nations people.

The survey is anonymous and none of your personal details will be recorded. All your responses to the survey will be confidential and only general results will be part of Winangali’s report to the department.

The survey closes on the 31 March 2026. If you have any questions, concerns, or comments about the survey, please email jacki@winangali.com.au
