Rural and regional scholarship now available

Community directors in rural and regional areas face different barriers to good governance from those in the city.

That's why the Institute of Community Directors Australia (ICDA) is currently offering scholarships to help rural and regional directors to undertake the Diploma of Governance.

The scholarship aims to provide access to important knowledge, qualifications and connections for those who live outside metropolitan areas.

Studying the Diploma of Governance is now an online experience, which means those in regional and rural areas are no longer required to travel long distances to gain access to this important training.

The scholarship provides $1,000 off the cost of studying ICDA's acclaimed Diploma of Governance (normally $4,500).

Course dates prior to the end of the financial year are filling quickly, so be sure to apply for a scholarship quickly to avoid missing out.
