Join Upper Snowy Landcare Network for a community day at Gegedzerick Travelling stock reserve, celebrating our much-loved grassy woodland ecosystems and contributing to citizen science platforms in support of the National Tree Day program.

Our aim for national tree day is to get participants involved in gathering citizen science observations through Birdata to support biodiversity data at this restoration site.

The day will include:

• A birding walk with Snowy Monaro Birds coordinator Kelly Stubbs alongside experienced birder Nicki Taws
• An opportunity to walk in nature, watch closely and contribute to citizen science platforms with bird sightings. No birding experience necessary, just enthusiasm!
• Updates on Gegedzerick land management and wildlife monitoring projects. Learn about how Upper Snowy Landcare network is monitoring artificial tree hollows and working to restore this special patch of woodland
• Opportunity to network and connect with people involved in landscape management and restoration. Share ideas, learn and engage with like-minded people across your community
