    Cultural Field Trip ticket release!
    Don't worry, you can still participate in this deadly gathering by joining a Cultural Field Trip on Thursday August 24, in and around Djabugay Country, Cairns.

    Grab a ticket to one of the following Cultural Field Trips:

    • Dreamtime Guided Tours: a guided walk along the spectacular Mossman Gorge led by local Indigenous tour guides, discussing stories of the local Kuku Yalanji Culture and traditions

    • Kuku Yalanji Cultural Habitat Tour: a guided coastal walk with cultural activities, including fishing and finding bush tucker, hosted by Traditional Custodians of Cooya Beach.

    • Yirrganydji and Gunggandji Reef Trip: 5 hours on the outer reef hosted by local Traditional Custodians, including a glass bottom boat tour, snorkelling, fish feed demonstration and marine biology presentation

    • Murri Kitchen Rules: a practical learn-to-cook class with Bush Tukka Woman Samantha Martin using native ingredients to understand the importance of traditional foods for community and cultural wellbeing.
