I'm a research assistant from Deakin University's Blue Carbon Lab. We are working on research that we hope will enable farmers to claim carbon credits for managing their farm dams in ways that reduce emissions and improve biodiversity and water quality. We have already published some research however we need more data to convince policymakers and make the scheme a reality.
We are searching for landowners willing to let us access their farm dams. Our team will conduct a program (for free) to monitor emissions, biodiversity and water quality to use in our research. In return we will provide you with our findings about your farm dam/s.
