Applications for grants under the Future Drought Fund are now open. The current programs include the Australian Government's Long-term Trials of Drought Resilient Farming Practices Round 2, and Resilient Landscapes Grants Program.
The projects aim to investigate innovative and transformational cropping, grazing and mixed farming practices through the lens of drought resilience and associated risk management. Based on stakeholder feedback the government expanded eligible industries to include cereal, broadacre crops, horticulture, and livestock.
Apply before 19 November if you have an innovative project that can lead to improved drought and climate resilience.
