Australia's First Nations people have a rich and diverse cultural heritage deeply intertwined with the country's land, waterways, and ecosystems. As educators and community members, it is crucial that we recognise and celebrate this unique perspective on the world around us.
One way to do this is by engaging with and supporting First Nations Australian suppliers who offer a range of services and products, who can be contracted to work with your school or Landcare group!
Junior Landcare, in partnership with Yurbay, have developed a database of such suppliers from across many regions of the country.
We envision this database will be updated regularly, as such we acknowledge we will not have captured all providers who are providing services. We hope this database can be a tool to better assist educators to connect with First Nation providers to enrich all aspects of their learning experiences.
