    Free veterinary laboratory testing
    Free veterinary laboratory testing is available for disease investigations on cloven-hooved livestock until 30 June 2023.

    Free testing is available due to the increased risk of     foot-and-mouth disease and other emergency animal diseases.

    Tests must be approved by a Local Land Services District Veterinarian and samples processed at the Elizabeth Macarthur Agricultural Institute.

    Private vets are required to request the fee waiver via a     short form and tests can be sent to the laboratory prior to approval.
