The Australian Government is committed to supporting drought resilience across Australia's agricultural sectors and communities through the Future Drought Fund (FDF). One of the key initiatives under the FDF is the Drought Resilience Adoption and Innovation Hubs (the hubs), established in 2021. The hubs aim to provide regionally focused information and support to farmers and rural communities in preparing for drought.
Consultation is now open for a review of the Hubs. The review panel is seeking input from stakeholders, including producers, state agencies, industry bodies, agribusinesses, and partnering organisations. Your feedback on the performance of the hubs and suggestions for improvements are invaluable.
Stakeholders can contribute to the consultation process by submitting a written response to an issues paper or via the Have Your Say platform.
The submission process is open until 2 October 2024.
