Hall Cemetery Woodland Work Party

The Budjan Galindji (Franklin Reserve) Parkcare Group is organised by Friends of Grasslands (FOG) and ACT Parkcare. Work parties focus on plant identification and removing weeds, and some planting of grasses and forbs is planned. This is a great opportunity for you to learn about grassland plants and weeds and their management, and how to restore our precious grasslands, including selecting, growing and reintroducing plants. Ginninderry Conservation Corridor Tour

Friends of Grasslands (FOG) have organised a tour where Ginninderry Conservation Trust Rangers will provide an overview of the Conservation Corridor, and the Ginninderry Sustainability Manager will discuss Ginninderry's sustainability initiatives. This unique area is home to box-gum woodlands, natural temperate grasslands and elusive Pink-tailed Worm-lizards. The tour will take us for a drive through the rolling 240ha currently under Trust management and we will stop at some beautiful sites and talk about the area's cultural significance.
