    First Nations Landcare Working Group member Suzanne Thompson recently spoke on Phil Clarke’s ABC Radio National Nightlife program.

    Suzanne, an Iningai woman and Managing Director of Yambangku Aboriginal Corporation, manages a 22,000-acre property in Outback Central Western Queensland. She shared her insights on how Australian landholders can benefit from Traditional Knowledge in managing and restoring the land.
    Also joining was Tom Heap, a presenter on the BBC’s “Country File”, Radio 4’s “Rare Earth” series. With over 25 years of experience reporting on science and the environment, Tom spoke about his new book, “Land Smart – How to Give People and Nature the Space to Thrive.”
