This is your chance to share your ideas, projects, and passion with a national audience.

Theme: Landcare: Nature, Agriculture, Land and People Positive
What We’re Looking For We’re calling for abstracts and poster submissions across six concurrent streams:
- Nature Repair and Climate Adaptation
Addressing the twin challenges of climate adaptation and biodiversity restoration through innovation, enabling capital, and education. Innovation and technology, climate change adaptation and mitigation, First Nations Traditional Knowledge, education for landholders and farmers on carbon and biodiversity nature repair markets.
- Technology and Innovation for Landcare
Harnessing cutting-edge technologies and approaches for sustainable land management and restoration. New and emerging technologies for landscape and biodiversity restoration, First Nations Traditional Knowledge, changing use of technology in Landcare.
- Community-Driven Landcare
Strengthening community resilience through partnerships, storytelling, and inclusive participation. Healthy people and resilient communities, partnerships, restoration, enhancement and protection of landscape, waterways and biodiversity, First Nations Traditional Knowledge, volunteering, communication and storytelling, landcare as an inclusive space.
- Restoring Biodiversity Across Landscapes
Collaborative approaches to enhance biodiversity in rural, urban, and remote settings. Community partnerships in action, rural and urban environmental projects, First Nations Traditional Knowledge, sharing knowledge.
- Sustainable Agriculture and Soil Health
Innovations for balancing productivity and ecological health on farms Excellence in productive and healthy landscapes, innovation and technology, First Nations Traditional Knowledge, soil health, growing young farmers.
NextGen Landcare Summit, Sunday 21 September 2025 We are seeking abstracts and posters for the NextGen Landcare Summit, which will be held on Sunday, 21 September. Abstract presentations for the summit should address the following:
2025 NextGen Landcare Summit is a platform for emerging leaders to showcase fresh perspectives and how we can drive the landcare movement forward.
Building the future of landcare through cross-sectoral partnerships, landcare as an inclusive space (multiculturalism, gender diversity, disability inclusion, neurodiversity), climate anxiety and promoting mental health and wellbeing, strengthening youth involvement and intergenerational knowledge sharing, inspiring stories of innovation, resilience, and leadership in landcare, career development, succession planning, First Nations Cultural connection and succession, engaging young people in landcare in remote areas, barriers and opportunities to engaging young people, the changing use of technology in landcare including social media, and trends and motivations for young people to volunteer.

Abstracts will NOT be accepted from commercial entities.
