Churchill Fellowship Information Session: Agriculture, Horticulture and Food

Churchill Fellowships are a unique chance to travel internationally, investigate global best practice, and apply it in your working life.

​Australian citizens and permanent residents from any industry, background or location are eligible to apply.

​It is based on the legacy of Sir Winston Churchill – the freedom to explore, the wisdom of travel and open-mindedness being available to all.

​Applications open 28 February 2025 and close 1 May 2025.

​Join Churchill Fellows Stuart McGruddy and Tim Roache as they share their Fellowship experiences before, during and after their travels.

​Churchill Trust CEO Christine Dacey will share information about the application process and what to expect for successful applicants.

​​​Meet our speakers for this session:

  • ​Tim Roache was awarded a Jack Green Churchill Fellowship in 2017 to mordernise milk price models and manage price risk in the Australian dairy market. Learn more about Tim here.
  • ​Stuart McGruddy was awarded a Hort Innovation Churchill Fellowship in 2020 to build on the knowledge, experience and technology used in the freezing of whole soft berry fruits.  Learn more about Stuart here.
  • ​Christine Dacey was appointed CEO of the Churchill Trust in 2024, following a decades long career as a senior leader in the Australian public service, working in education, national security, immigration and taxation.
