The accompanying presentation of the Accounting for Nature Field Day on Weds 19th October, speaking to natural asset management as well as opportunities to participate and gain accreditation in natural capital accounting.
The workshop will focused on building the skills to implement the Accounting for Nature® Framework in order to measure and certify Environmental Condition Accounts.
These accounts can be used to measure and monitor improvements in natural capital, such as native vegetation, soil, fauna, and water.
The Framework can also be used to communicate these changes to a broad range of stakeholders effectively and provides a scientifically rigorous approach to underpin environmental claims.
What can you expect to learn?
These are going to become a pretty big deal for financing conservation in the coming years, much like carbon in the past 5-10 years - so if you have the time, I highly recommend you attend read through the presentation!
