Farmers For Climate Action’s (FCA) theory for change starts with community collaboration. Partnering with bodies such as Landcare to develop a participatory democracy which cuts through Australia’s culture wars, their aim is to generate positive triple bottom-line outcomes. This ideology has led to their rapid growth and the publishing of reports, such as ‘Change in the Air — defining the need for an Australia agricultural climate change strategy’, and ‘Regional Horizons — farming communities leading the recovery’. Extremely influential, these reports have been accepted by AGMIN and proved integral to the future drought fund, respectfully. Presenter: Peter Holding.
