Event Overview

Dive under the surface of the Dyarubbin river at this interactive exhibit!

Discover what - or who lives in the river, the different microclimates that they live, how you can measure water quality and what you can do to help keep the Dyarubbin River healthy for all the people and creatures that rely on it.

Grab a magnifying and help identify the weird and wonderful water bugs found in the Dyarubbin, learn about the different colours of the river and what that means for water quality, and test how much you know about wildlife in the river with a 15 question quiz!

10 minute talks about different topics will occur every 20 minutes. During and in between talks there will be Riverkeeper Michelle, Jess from Streamwatch and Katherine from Hawkesbury-Nepean Landcare Network, to help you on different activities.

This exhibit includes activities and information for all ages. Participants can choose to stay for as long or as little as they like. There will be some shade under the trees and gazebos. Parking is subject to availability.
