Hooded Plover Shorebird Workshop 2

Event Overview

Come along to either one of Birdlife Australia's Hooded Plover Conservation Workshops!

Birdlife Australia will host two hooded plover conservation workshops, where locals can learn all about our local beach-nesting birds and how to help them.

Learn how to interpret the quirky behaviours of the birds, why it is so important for the local community to get involved in their protection, and what you can do to help out. Attendees will spend the morning indoors, have lunch and then venture down to the beach for a visit, where you will get to see the birds behaviours!

The first workshop will be held at 10am Wednesday, October 19th, at the Vivonne Bay General Store, with the second to be held at 9:30am Saturday, October 22nd, at The Shed, American River.
