Event Overview

For the month of March, join thousands of Australians across the country, as they embark on the Nature Walk Challenge 2024.

Lace up your walking shoes, get outside and have fun, as you walk to save Australia's precious wildlife. You'll be part of a movement of people working together to achieve the protections our wild places need to exist and prosper. Every step you take will help The Wilderness Society protect wildlife and the places they call home, for generations to come.

The Nature Walk Challenge is designed with everyone in mind. Whether you're an advanced hiker or a leisurely stroller, you set the distance and the pace. You can choose from a 50km, 70km or 100km challenge. Or you can choose your own distance, whether that's 5km or 500! It's up to you. Whatever you decide, the most important goal is to get outside and enjoy reconnecting with nature.
