NKPL Snowy Mountains Horse Sale & Agricultural Information Day

NKPL Snowy Mountains Horse Sale and Agricultural Information Day is coming up on Saturday 5th November 2022 at the Dalgety Showground!!

The upcoming horse sale will include horses, floats, goosenecks and saddlery! The sale will commence at 12pm with inspections open from 8am! Entries are still open, contact the NKPL office to register your horse, float, gooseneck, or saddlery into the sale! 

The day doesn't stop with horses! Make sure you come and check out the agricultural information day component which involves various stall holders and local speakers discussing various agricultural topics. This will be a great opportunity for anyone wanting to find out more about the industry, speak to knowledgeable local people and to meet people offering different services in the area!

Program:

• 8am - Horse Sale Inspections Open
• 9am - Robbie Haine, from Gunyah Hereford Stud, discussing beef industry and hereford cattle followed by a Q & A session
• 10am - Tash Kessler, from Gordan Litchfield Wool discussing wool production and merino sheep followed by a Q & A session
• 11am - Dr Charlie Massy discussing the principles of farming, weed control and bush fire control
• 12pm - Horse Sale Auction Commences

Please note all speakers will be located in the sheep pavilion.

The event will be catered by Snowy River Pony Club! Make sure you head over to the kiosk to get some food on the day and chat to some great people about joining if that is something you are interested in!
