Platypus Landcare - Riverbank Restoration

Event Image

Event Overview

Join us for Platypus Landcare, where the local community and dedicated landholders come together to look after our Platypus creeks, through riparian restoration.

We have planted at this site before, and are now going to look after the plants and continue weeding around them to ensure they become established.

Morning tea will be provided, but we do encourage others to bring some goodies along to help feed us, hard workers!

We will also be doing some water quality testing with our new Streamwatch kit!

Please bring: Enclosed, non-slip shoes, long pants, long sleeves, a drink bottle, hat, sunscreen protection, and your own gloves if you have them (we will have some supplied).

On another note, stay tuned for another platypus-related event, which will involve Platypus Spotting coming this October!

COVID precaution: Sanitiser will be provided as well as masks if you need one.

If you are feeling unwell please do not attend. You can email me at danielle@chen.org.au to cancel your ticket. Thank you!
