Event Overview

For anyone who is in a position where you find yourself leading, holding space or facilitating meetings, discussions and collaborations, I highly recommend this training.

Art of Hosting Training

Monday 31 October to Wednesday 2nd November 2022.

  • The Art of Hosting and Harvesting Conversations that Matter, also known as Participatory Leadership, offers simple and powerful participatory practices, patterns and processes to build personal leadership and host generative conversations. These approaches have been used effectively in diverse contexts worldwide to harness collective wisdom, encourage compassionate leadership, and create better social and environmental outcomes.
  • We warmly invite you to join us for a 3-day Art of Hosting training to explore the questions that we are passionate about and develop new ways of working together to make the future we need.
The training will be held in beautiful South East NSW, in the town of Tuross Head, from Monday 31 October to Wednesday 2nd November 2022.
  • It is a good time to be exploring this question, together: What's possible when our communities bravely come together to have conversations that matter?

You may have previously indicated your interest on an EOI form; but it's time now to do the full registration.

You will see that registration fees cover accommodation & meals for the 3 day training - A bargain that we may not be able to offer another time.
  • Please see the attached flyer for more details including participant fees and the registration process.

  • If the registration fee is a limiting factor for you, please reach out and have a conversation with either Linda Cavanagh (South East Regional Landcare Coordinator) southeastrlc20@gmail.com or Marien Stark (Regional Agricultural Landcare Facilitator) marien.stark@lls.nsw.gov.au to see how we can help accommodate your needs.

As the South East Landcare has received significant funding from the NSW Landcare Program to hold this Community of Practice training in our region, the 2022 Art of Hosting training is heavily subsidised.
I urge you to take up this opportunity; to hone your hosting and facilitation skills alongside the other local landcare coordinators and key landcarers in the South East.
