I have 10 ha in the Byron hinterland. quite a bit is steep, and I have had trouble growing grass when I have cleared an area of the weeds (lantana, privet, devils figs, camphor laurel, tobacco bush for example). I'd like to try agro forestry. Can anyone suggest a plan of action for this? I'm suggesting

making paths for planting and later harvesting,

choosing valuable timber trees,

asking arborists best method of planting, ie all one species together or interspersed so faster growing ones are removed first;

fertilising regimes,

weeding frequency for example.
